One Red

2015

Glass, red pigment, water, steel.
1058 x 32 x 8cm

An installation at the Museum of Bath at Work in which artifacts from Bath’s former industries are held in aspic. Countering the suggestion of permanence that museums inevitably evoke, Lucinda draws attention to ongoing change, hanging bottles from the Museum Collection in front of the windows to catch the changing light and filling them with the same red pigment which, over the weeks, faded unevenly.
